The Arizona Yoga Association, known as ‘AYA’ is a 501(c)4 non-profit, member run organization.
In 1993, Marie Kearney, resident of Tucson, founded and organized the Arizona Yoga Association
based upon the inspiring concepts she drew from attending the Unity in Yoga Conference (now Yoga Alliance) held that same year.

The Bhakti Yoga Club is affiliated with the University of Arizona and inspired by the teachings of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. It includes UA students, faculty and the Tucson community.
All interested, new and existing members should attend the programs and activities of the Club. All programs are free of charge. There is no experience required to attend them. There are no obligations. We invite you to attend when you can. The programs embrace participants with all philosophies, traditions, beliefs, practices and statuses. The programs provide a forum for active spiritual discussion and application.

IAYT supports research and education in Yoga and serves as a professional organization for Yoga teachers and Yoga therapists worldwide. Our mission is to establish Yoga as a recognized and respected therapy.
IAYT membership is open to Yoga practitioners, Yoga teachers, Yoga therapists, Yoga researchers and healthcare practitioners who utilize Yoga in their practice. Current membership is approximately, 2,300. Membership has tripled since the IAYT renewal in 2004.
IAYT also serves members, the media, and the general public as a comprehensive source of information about contemporary Yoga education, research, and statistics.
