(Scene: a room full of people wearing red shirts are gathered in a circle of folding chairs) Hi, my name is Greg and I'm a recovering "Same Ol' Cardinals" addict. (Red Clad Crowd Responds: "Hi Greg!") I've been conditioned to believe that no matter how good things seem the Arizona/Phoenix Cardinals will find a way to blow a game, a draft pick or a free agent signing (see 2005's [...]

Photo: Paul Connors/AP The Monday Night Football jinx is over for the Arizona Cardinals. In a game that featured more flags than the United Nations, the Cardinals slogged their way to a 29-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. The Cardinals' defense, which struggled for most of the night to stop a San Francisco offense that has struggled for much of [...]

Photo: Lisa Blumenfeld/Getty Images If you ask football fans who the dirtiest player in the NFL is, a lot would respond with the name Rodney Harrison of the New England Patriots, for his lifetime body of work. Others might offer up Albert Haynesworth of Tennessee for kicking in the head of Dallas center Andre Gurode a couple of years ago. Other names you might hear are [...]
