The Arizona Ski Council (ASC) was formed as a local chapter of the Far West Ski Association (FWSA) which has over 50,000 members. Participating clubs in ASC are the , Arizona Outdoor Travel Club, Boeing Employee Adventure Club, East Valley Ski Club, Party Time Sports, Phoenix Ski Club, and Scottsdale Sea and Ski Club.
ASC was formed in 1991 to promote skiing and friendships among clubs, safety on the slopes, and general education of the skier community, while having a good time enjoying the
camaraderie of fellow skiers.
Arizona Ski Council is one of ten councils within Far West Ski Association (FWSA), encompassing Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. We also are a Charter Member of the National Ski Council Federation.

The Elevation Ski and Snowboard Club is an ASUA recognized club at the University of Arizona. Their mission is to unite all skiers and snowboarders, as well as those interested in becoming involved in any of these amazing winter sports. As a club they create an incredibly social atmosphere for their members through various fun events and trips. Specifically, they organize and arrange various events such as skydiving, meetings, video premieres, and of course trips. They organize club ski trips to Colorado, New Mexico, California, and Arizona where we arrange discounted prices on lift tickets, hotels, and transportation and provide these to their members.

With about 400 members, the Phoenix Club runs ski trips each winter all over the Western US and Canada. They even go to Europe or other exotic destinations in conjunction with the Far West Ski Association. In addition to skiing, you’ll find them hiking, white water rafting, bicycling, houseboating, canoeing, 4-wheel driving, touring the wine country, taking in the theatre, whooping it up at musical events, water skiing, and just socializing.

The Scottsdale Sea & Ski Club, SSSC, is the premier adult activities club in Scottsdale, Phoenix and the surrounding areas of central Arizona. SSSC is a non-profit adult social club run by its members and for its members.
The Scottsdale Sea & Ski Club is oriented towards active adults 21 years or older. SSSC provides year-round activities including, but not limited to: snow skiing and snowboarding for all levels of expertise, hiking, biking, roller blading, tubing, volleyball, theme parties, camping, day & weekend outings, out of town trips, art walks, wine tasting, boating, water and jet skiing, scuba diving, as well as weekly happy hours and monthly dinners at various local establishments.
