Here is an interesting overhaul to create a competitive balance of MLB.  Currently there are 14 teams in the AL and 16 in the NL.  What it means is that, in any given season, any team in the AL will have a 14 percent better chance of reaching the playoffs than any team in the NL.  Here is a concept in considering the economics too.  I would love any feedback. The Phoenix Business Journal is reporting that Arizona Cardinals have raised season ticket prices for the upcoming season in many sections. Lower level end zone seats are going up from $63 per game to $65 per game.  The tickets in the lower bowl will now range from $63 to $97.50.  The Upper level seats will range between $25 adn $97.50.  Club level season tickets are priced from $155 to $400 per contest and the price does not include a $5.25 game facility fee from the AZ Sports and Tourism... (more)

Here is a rundown of the trades: Phoenix re-acquired defenseman Derek Morris from the Boston Bruins for a fourth round draft pick in 2011.  Morris has 25 points (12 on the PP) in 53 games with the Bruins this season.  He should be a big help with the Coyotes 29th-ranked power play.
