Here is an interesting overhaul to create a competitive balance of MLB.  Currently there are 14 teams in the AL and 16 in the NL.  What it means is that, in any given season, any team in the AL will have a 14 percent better chance of reaching the playoffs than any team in the NL.  Here is a concept in considering the economics too.  I would love any feedback.
