Newark Police in Ohio have cited a 28-year old man for OVI and driving under suspension after discovering he crashed a motorized barstool on a public street while under the influence of alcohol. On March 4, officer Michael Trotter responded to the area of 566 Kelley Lane to assist Newark Fire with an accident involving a motorized barstool. Police say the man claimed the barstool could reach speeds of 38 miles per hour, but was only going about 20 at the time of the crash. Newark police is reminding... (more)
