What a roller coaster ride! Kurt Warner was named starter on Saturday afternoon after months of speculation that Matt Leinart was the guy. At least that’s what still-rookie coach Ken Whisenhunt had said all a long. Quote of the year so far: “The person who best gives us a chance to win next Sunday at San Francisco is Kurt Warner,” said Whisenhunt after wrestling with the decision Friday night and into Saturday morning. Breaking News on The Busted Bubble
It seems that the damage to the Dennis Dome caused by Hurricane Wilbur doesn’t seem to be as bad as originaly thought to be. Saturday night Mark Brand, Associate AD in charge of Communications at ASU, stated that the cost to repair the bubble was much less than originaly presumed to be and that the bubble may be up and functional by the end of the season. Mother Nature Huffed and Puffed and Blew the Dennis Dome Down
Well after a month and a half of practice heaven, the Sun Devils have to head to the great outdoors in order to get their practice in. The affectionately called Dennis Dome provided the Devils a chance to get away from the heat and the rains of the Monsoon season. The dome suffered over a million dollars worth of damage, and with the dome being two months from being fully owned by Arizona State University there are questions as to who will pay for the damages.
