The Arizona Girls Youth Hockey associations goal is to encourage and promote the growth of girls youth amateur ice hockey in the State of Arizona; to conduct skill development clinics and form recreational and competitive teams for all youth girls of Arizona; to associate with all other ice hockey associations and to stress the importance of good sportsmanship and good citizenship amongst the members of this Association; to do any and all acts necessary or desirable in the furtherance of the forgoing business, and to create further interest in girls youth amateur hockey.

Ice Hockey is not a sanctioned high school sport by the Arizona Interscholastic Association. Enter the Arizona High School Hockey Association, the governing body for high school club hockey in Arizona. Currently,over 25 Valley High Schools field teams at 4 different levels of play, Varsity A, Varsity B, Varsity C and Junior Varsity. The mission of the association is to provide high quality skill development in the sport of hockey for all players in a safe environment. With a focus on progressive skill development and enthusiastic support of players, a positive and successful experience in the sport is assured.
Through training, education, role modeling, the value of sportsmanship and family participation will be at the forefront of all association activities. We will strive to ensure that our organization continues to increase our capability to maintain a youth hockey program, which fulfills the needs of our members.
