Well, he and his company Meathawk has produced a new hilarious film, this one staring Suns guard Alando Tucker, who makes sure he does everything in his power to avoid the H1N1 Swine Flu.

JMZ: Why can’t every player do this!?

Jared Dudley is not only a forward for the Phoenix Suns, but did you know he also hosts his own TwitVid reality show? It’s called JMZ (get it? like TMZ).

The principle is basic: He takes his camera through the Phoenix Suns locker room, talks to his teammates as if he’s a reporter and gives us an extra slice of an athlete’s life.

In this segment, after the Suns defeated the Rockets on the road last night, Dudley takes us through the locker room as he talks to his half-naked teammates and heckles the Asian media. Why don’t more NBA players do this? We love it, even if we do get a sore neck from watching it.

The Phoenix Mercury won the national championship this weekend, despite the fact that 99 percent of America didn’t know the WNBA Finals were going on. Hell, some people didn’t even know WNBA Finals even existed.

Well they do, and our very good friend Michael Schwartz of ESPN affiliate blog ValleyoftheSuns.com, has provided us with an Amazing and naturally hilarious recap of the the Mercury’s thrilling championship.

We’re not too convinced that it’s a Party in the USA, as Miley Cyrus is singing in the background, but it was certainly a party for women’s basketball fans in Phoenix, which included Schwartz, who sported a Mercury jersey and all. No homo.

Shaq Stole Steve Nash’s TV Show Idea

Shaq’s new TV show on ABC, Shaq VS., has been getting a lot of publicity lately. It’s a great concept, and of course the general public wants to see one of the most charismatic athletes in all of sports go up against pro athletes in something other than basketball. It’s pure entertainment.

Only, it’s a stolen idea. That’s right, Shaq stole the idea from former teammate Steve Nash. After originally seeking an entertainment lawyer, Nash is now an executive producer for the show.

From the Arizona Republic:

“We collaborated on parts of the show,” he said. “I support him 100 percent. I thought the first episode was a fantastic episode, and I can’t wait for the next one.”

That’s something you would expect Nash to say. He often has played the role of locker-room peacemaker. He is known as a teammate who diffuses tough situations before they escalate.

In reality, a source close to Nash said, “Steve was pissed. He couldn’t believe Shaq’s lack of integrity.”

The experience set the tone for some shaky chemistry on the court. Off it, Nash found himself in a difficult situation, trying to co-exist with a teammate who had blindsided him.

“He’s moved on,” the source said. “He really does want the show to succeed.”

Maybe Lou Amundson got tired of Shaq taking the chains off his bike. Maybe he was making fun of the fact that Shaq was driving around in a full-sized, police-issued van.

Or maybe Amundson just likes to play with fire.

Amundson pranked the prankster in the players’ parking garage by filling up the Diesel’s van with packing styrofoam. Shaq said he’s coming after Amundon’s hair. Look out Lou!
