Back in August, Phoenix was named the winning city in AMP Energy’s Hometown Takedown contest, beating out 30 other cities across the country for the right to host a WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting) event in the Valley.
That even is WEC 53, and will be held Thursday, December 16th at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale. The card that night will feature two championship bouts–a lightweight title match between Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis, and a bantamweight championship fight that will pit Dominick Cruz against Scott Jorgensen.
Now, fans have a chance to win the AMP Energy Hometown Takedown Best Seat in the House contest.
One lucky fan will win an all-expenses paid trip to Phoenix, two tickets to WEC 53, a press pass to sit in press row to chronicle the Henderson-Pettis bout, VIP access to the official weigh-in press conference the night prior to the event, a chance to eat dinner with AMP Energy fighter and former world champ Uriah Faber, and some signed memorabilia from some of the top AMP Energy WEC fighters.
How do you win?
