For the past few days there’s been rumblings that a “mystery buyer” was interested in buying the Phoenix Coyotes and keeping them in town–and no it’s not Jerry Reinsdorf.

But it is a guy with Chicago ties. Matthew Hulsizer. Don’t know him? He’s the CEO of PEAK6 Investments LP, based in Chicago. Reports say he’s working out a lease agreement deal with the City of Glendale (good luck with that) and that he could represent the last chance to keep the team in the Valley.
