Manny Ramirez has had a very quiet spring this year for the Los Angeles Dodgers but today he went 1-for-2 with his first homer of the spring as he knocked in two runs against the Chicago Cubs. Reed Johnson also hit a round tripper against his former team for his first of the season. Former D-backs third baseman Chad Tracy went 2-for-2 on the day with a walk and a run scored.
Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley allowed only one run on five hits with a walk and four strikeouts in his 4.2 innings of work. Cubs starter Ryan Dempsey lasted four innings allowing four hits and two runs on the first inning homer by Ramirez. The Cubs fell to 9-6 on the spring while the Dodgers improved to 5-6-1.
