Phoenix Suns fans, Kevin Johnson needs your vote.
Don’t worry though, it doesn’t matter what your political affiliation is or how you stand on the issues. The only thing you have to be in favor of is monster dunks over rival centers.
The former Suns point guards’ jam over Rockets’ center Hakeem Olajuwon in the 1994 Western Conference Semi-Finals, is one of the 16 dunks up for the title of “Posterized: The Best Poster Dunk In NBA History”.
The bracket style tournament is part of ESPN’s Sports Nation television show. Fans can watch and vote on their favorite dunk with it all culminating in the naming of a champion at the end of the week.
Kevin Johnson’s dunk is currently taking on a John Starks dunk against the Bulls in the 1993 playoffs.
Not to be out done former Suns forward and current team broadcaster Tom Chambers has a dunk in the competition as well. His monster slam over Mark Jackson in 1989 is taking on a Lebron James dunk.
You can vote for Johnson’s dunk here and Chambers’ here.
