(PHOENIX) — The Arizona Diamondbacks have declined to offer arbitration to a trio of players, left-handed pitchers Doug Davis and Scott Schoeneweis and infielder Chad Tracy, as announced by D-backs Executive Vice President and General Manager Josh Byrnes.
Davis, 34, went 9-14 with a 4.12 ERA (93 ER in 203.1 IP) in 34 starts last season. He limited the opposition to a .267 batting average with 103 walks and 146 strikeouts.
Schoeneweis, 36, went 1-2 with a 7.13 ERA (19 ER in 24.0 IP) in 45 relief appearances last season. He held opponents to a .287 batting average with 13 walks and 14 strikeouts.
Tracy, 29, hit .237 (61-for-257) with 15 doubles, 8 home runs and 39 RBI in 98 games last season. He saw action in a combined 71 games (61 starts) in the field at first base (66 games, 56 starts) and third base (8 games, 5 starts).
