The Suns are like a good Thanksgiving Dinner

thanksgiving-feastBen York has already given you five things you should be thankful for as a Phoenix Suns fan. I’m here to tell you why the meal you are preparing to eat on Thursday is a lot like the .

That’s right, your favorite NBA team is like a fulfilling Thanksgiving dinner.

sets the table for everyone and serves up each course throughout the day.

and Steve Kerr are the chefs.

    and provide the “stuffing”.

The team and their fans have been roasting the “Big Turkey” since July.

is the mashed potatoes, a solid and reliable compliment to everything else on the table.

Jared Dudley is the gravy for the Suns, that little something extra that ties the meal together.

Goran Dragic is like the green bean casserole someone always seems to bring, it looks like it could be good but you just aren’t sure about it’s consistency.

Taylor Griffin, Earl Clark and Robin Lopez are like the napkins and silverware, they’re there when you need them but they aren’t anyone’s main focus.

The meal finishes off with a nice pie, in the Suns case Leandro Barbosa. Comes in after the main course, but it’s just as good.

So when you sit down on Thursday to have your turkey with a side of and covered with Jared Dudley, think about the thing you should be most thankful for in Phoenix sports, the .

Also, try the Goran Dragic. I promise it’s better than it looks.
