Jared Dudley almost arrested for playing wiffle ball?

We don’t know if he was actually almost arrested, but according to Suns small forward Jared Dudley’s twitter account, he and some friends had a run in with the law. It wasn’t for carrying a gun, a fight, a domestic abuse report or any other nefarious actions. No, Dudley and friends were talked to by police about playing Wiffle Ball.

If what the cops said is true, I was more of a juvenile delinquent than I realized. Not sure that helps me or Dudley with our street cred, but it certainly makes for a good laugh. One has to wonder what kind of a suspension would come with an arrest for playing Wiffle Ball? I bet it would be in the :30 second range.

Just a tip Jared, watch for the riser. That is a tough pitch to hit. That, and find a nice field next time you want to play. I wouldn’t want you to get in anymore trouble.
