If you listened to sports radio in Phoenix over the last few weeks, you wouldn’t even realize that Amare Stoudemire has been on a media tour. If you were in the cities of Atlanta, New York or Washington DC you would be very familiar with it and familiar with the fact that Stoudemire wants out of Phoenix.

In the past two weeks Stoudemire has found his way onto The Junkies on WJFK in Washington DC, 790 The Zone in Atlanta and New York 1050 ESPN with Brandon Tierney to discuss not only his eye and his music label but just how much he wants to stay in Phoenix (hint, it’s not very much). On each stop Amare has something interesting to say. He claimed that the chance of him being in Phoenix next season is “50-50″ and that his only goal is to win a championship and if Phoenix can’t provide it he needs to move on. He mentions the Knicks, the Wizards and the Cavs all as potential suitors.

You have to wonder if he watched Anquan Boldin last season and took notes. It seems very Rosenhaus-esk tactics are being implemented by the self proclaimed “STAT”. You have to wonder just how much Steve and the Suns front office is listening to what Amare has to say and just how soon they’ll start listening to what other general managers have to offer.

Listen to exactly what Amare had to say to WJFK, The Zone and 1050 ESPN. (Special thanks to SportsRadioInterviews.com)
