A group of local media members and fans, jointly called the Save the Coyotes Coalition, are hosting White Out 2009 – Save the Phoenix Coyotes Rally this Saturday, May 16th at 10AM. The Rally will take place in Glendale (exact location TBA), in close proximity to Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ.

The Save the Coyotes Coalition are asking all fans planning to attend to dress in white, similar to the famous Coyotes “White Outs” of years past.

Calling All Sports Saturday, on AM 1060 The FAN, will be broadcasting live from the event at Westgate City Center and a special guest emcee from the local media will host the rally.

The rally is being put together by the Coalition, which has numerous ties to the community including members of the Phoenix Coyotes Boosters Club, numerous Phoenix Coyotes Bloggers, AM 1060 The FAN, and local Phoenix sports website Fanster.com.

The Coalition was formed with the mission of building awareness for the current issues facing the Phoenix Coyotes, to show fan pride in the team, and to ultimately help play a key role in keeping the team in Phoenix.
