Local skateboarders are invited to Anthem Skate Park Bash, which will happen this Saturday, May 9th, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Anthem Skate Park, located at 41703 North Gavilan Peak Parkway in Anthem.

Contests will take place in several different age classifications. Skaters aged 6-11 will compete at 6:00 p.m., while skaters aged 12-18 will compete at 8:00 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee to participate in the contests, and skaters are competing for prizes which will be donated by Etnies, which is one of the sponsors of the event. Other sponsors include Red Bull, Tilly’s, Quiksilver, Roxy and Pole Star Distribution, LLC.

Semi-pro Valley skateboarders Jett and Jagger Eaton will also perform at the event.
