Cards Go to the Wells

The first round pick is in. Chris “Beanie” Wells is the choice. The injury prone running back from Ohio State fell further than many thought he would and fell into the laps of the Arizona Cardinals with the number 31 pick in the first round.

I came out and said I didn’t want him, a lot having to do with injury. Many people will say, well he only missed x amount of games. However, he hasn’t played more than nine in any season. I think the concern over injury was one of the reasons the highly graded back fell so far. Listen, I hope I am proven wrong. People also question his mental toughness. I hope this pick however turns out to be draft gold for the Cardinals.

Now it is time to see what the second round brings.
