    With the 31st pick in the NFL draft the Arizona Cardinals select Donald Brown

    According to twenty of the top mock NFL drafts the consensus first round pick for the Arizona Cardinals is Connecticut running back Donald Brown. Six of the prognosticators, including ESPN’s Todd McShay, said the Cardinals will fill their backfield need in round one.

    Defensive end Larry English from Northern Illinois was the second most popular selection. Four experts, including ESPN’s draft day guru Mel Kiper, had the Cardinals going with English to help sure up things on the defensive side of the ball.

    Others prospects who have shown up as the Cardinals selection in various mock drafts are Brandon Pettigrew, tight end out of Oklahoma State. Clay Matthews Linebacker from USC. Chris wells, running back out of Ohio State. Knowshon Moreno, running back Georgia. Clint Sintim, linebacker out of Virginia. Aaron Maybing, defensive end/linebacker out of Penn State and Alex Mack, center from California.
