“I knew I was jumping into the frying pan. I mean, I didn’t know it was this hot.”
That quote kind of sums up Steve Kerr’s season as general manager of the Phoenix Suns.
Kerr has taken his share of lumps this season from fans and media alike, on a number of issues; the hiring and firing of Terry Porter, his draft picks Robin Lopez and Goran Dragic, and the trade that sent Raja Bell and Boris Diaw to Charlotte for Jason Richardson and Jared Dudley. but with just 8 games left in a season that will most likely end in an appearance in the NBA Draft Lottery, Kerr isn’t doing any hiding.
Today at the team’s shootaround, Kerr talked on a multitude of subjects.
