Steve Nash needs your help

No, this isn’t another post about how Nash really could use a backup point guard or how the offensive weight shouldn’t be on his shoulders (yes all those things are areas MV-Steve needs help but we’ll leave that for another time). He needs help in a different way.

Steve Nash needs fans help to win the 43rd Annual British Columbia Community Champion Athlete of the Year award (or the BCCCAYA for short).

Nash is currently third in voting behind Ryan Dempster –yes, the same Ryan Dempster who has a career 4.55 ERA– and Joe Sakic — who has an impressive 2 goals in 15 games this year.

No need to fear though Sons (and daughters) of Steve Nash. He only trails Sakic by 86 votes and Dempster by 128.

So vote early and vote often Suns fans. Don’t let a mediocre pitcher and a hockey player win an award that we here in Phoenix should have no say in. Rise up and stuff the ballot box.
