The accolades continue to pile up for Arizona State sophomore James Harden, as today he was named to the CBSSports.com All-American First Team. Joining Harden on the team are North Carolina guard Ty Lawson, guard Stephen Curry of Davidson, DeJuan Blair of Pittsburgh, and CBSSports.com Player of the Year Blake Griffin of Oklahoma.
Harden averaged 20.8 points per game in leading the Sun Devils to a 22-8 record. He was named the Pac-10 Player of the Year on Monday. He is currently the 19th-leading scorer (1,229 points) in Arizona State basketball history despite not yet completing his second year of college basketball.
