Meet the new Coyotes

coyoteslogoThe Phoenix Coyotes changed the look of their team today, making four separate trades before the NHL’s trading deadline.

Gone are goalie Mikael Tellqvist (Buffalo), tough guy and fan favorite Daniel Carcillo (Philadelphia), center Olli Jokinen (Calgary) and defenseman Derek Morris (NY Rangers). In the process, the Coyotes picked up 6 new players, and 2 draft picks.

Here’s the new members of the Phoenix Coyotes:

dawesNigel Dawes (NYR) – LW- 5’9″, 193 lbs. – 5th round pick by NYR in 2003 (149th overall)
