    Meet the new Coyotes

    coyoteslogoThe changed the look of their team today, making four separate trades before the NHL’s trading deadline.

    Gone are goalie Mikael Tellqvist (Buffalo), tough guy and fan favorite Daniel Carcillo (Philadelphia), center (Calgary) and defenseman (NY Rangers). In the process, the Coyotes picked up 6 new players, and 2 draft picks.

    dawesNigel Dawes (NYR) - LW- 5′9″, 193 lbs. - 5th round pick by NYR in 2003 (149th overall)
    2008-09 statistics: 52 games, 10 goals, 9 assists, 19 points

    kalininDmitri Kalinin (NYR) - D - 6′3″, 210 lbs. - 1st round pick by NYR in 1998 (18th overall)

    lombardi (CALG) - C - 6′0″, 198 lbs. - 3rd round pick by Calgary in 2002 (90th overall)
