Week 6 in the Copper Football League

Globe-Miami Sting 19….Glendale Bulldogs 6
Quarterback Max Shug threw for 168 yards, including an 89-yard touchdown pass to Luis Sanchez in leading the Sting to a 19-6 victory over the Glendale Bulldogs. Kory Parham also threw a touchdown pass to Johnny Travis as the Sting moved their record to 2-4, while the Bulldogs fell to 1-5.

Phoenix Outlaws 35…..Arizona Thunder 0
QB Chris Malleo completed 13 of 22 for 207 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another score in the Outlaws 35-0 win over the Arizona Thunder. Mike Cvelbar had 2 touchdown catches for Phoenix.

Tucson Blaze 7….Peoria Patriots 6
Terrence Bryant had a touchdown run, and Tucson’s defense intercepted 4 passes, including three by Timothy Echeverria, as the Blaze squeaked out a 7-6 win over the Peoria Patriots.

Tri-City Titans 38…..East Valley Mustangs 6
Tom Ziegler threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 2 more in Tri City’s 38-6 romp over the East Valley Mustangs.

Tempe Rams 38…..Northern Arizona Coyotes 0
