I know Suns fans are praying for it to be confirmed. All due respect to Terry Porter, he never had success as a player or assitant coach so what made Steve Kerr think he would be the perfect fit? Stoudemire will be with another team if not by the trading deadline, definatelly next season.
“Terry Porter, he never had success as a player”
no he just went to the nba finals twice which isn’t that great since PHX hasn’t even been there with nash + stoudemire? STFU
all we can say is porter was NOT a good fit for the SUNS. thats it. PERIOD.
You guys should take the Blazers coach, Nate McMillan. His son now plays in Tempe and it would be a great fit. Meanwhile, the people in Portland appreciate Terry Porter, who was a two-time NBA All-Star and have studied the game under coaching greats such as Rick Adelman, Flip Saunders, Pat Riley, and Gregg Poppovich. To say he’s never had success is a moronic statement. He’s a class act who has much respect for the game. Porter is not to blame for the lack of success the Suns are having this year.
