Calling All Suns Fans – I Need Your Help!

Hell has frozen over, and pigs can fly.

That’s right, I’m announcing the very first co-live blog consisting of both a Suns blogger and a Spurs blogger!

I will be representing all Suns fans Thursday night when the San Antonio Spurs visit U.S. Airways Center to take on the Suns. Michael Deleon, of Project Spurs, will be representing the San Antonio Sterns.   I promise, Suns fans, I won’t let you down…but I need your help!

Of course, to make it as fair as possible, this will occur on neutral territory.  Zach Harper of TalkHoops.net has graciously offered to moderate the blog via his site, which is awesome by the way.  Few people know more about basketball than Zach does (and few people know more about the Spurs than Michael does).  Make sure to read Zach’s post addressing Bill Simmons man-crush on Kevin Durant – fantastic.

My Call to Suns Fans Everywhere

Before things get ugly, let me just state that I like Michael.  Michael is a great guy and he runs a fantastic Spurs blog that I encourage not just Suns fans, but basketball, fans to check out.  He’s also an avid podcaster who has been around the business for quite some time.  Plus, he’s not a bandwagon Spurs fan – he’s based in San Antonio and has grown up loving the Spurs.  Can’t fault him for that.

Having said that, WE CANNOT LET THERE BE MORE SPURS FANS REPRESENTED AND COMMENTING ON THE LIVE BLOG THAN SUNS FANS.  IT JUST SIMPLY CANNOT HAPPEN.

That’s why I need YOU, dear Suns fan, to join the Phoenician Army and comment your ass off during the live blog.

Your Mission:

Go to TalkHoops.net Thursday night at 8:30 Arizona time, and click on the CoverItLive screen.  Just follow the instructions to comment and cheer on the Suns!

For a preview of the game, I participated in a podcast with Michael you can find HERE.
