Does anyone know what the boiling point of brain is?
After the loss against the Bobcats tonight, my brain must be close to whatever that temperature is. I’m not kidding. I can only take so many games of having the Suns not play hard as a collective unit, with 20+ turnovers, and forgetting to play with heart.
I feel a responsibility to my readers. Thus, I really try hard to stay positive, make excuses for the losses, and be as encouraging as possible to justify the Suns play of late.
HOWEVER, watching the Suns performance tonight just about set me over the top. Yes, I know they are playing their sixth game in nine nights in 6 different cities. Yes, I know they are tired. But, I will make no excuses for their play tonight. They came out with a lack of focus, lack of energy, and lack of intensity. What I saw tonight wasn’t the Suns team I’ve come to know and love…and devote an entire room of my house to. Plus time blogging. And analyzing TiVo recordings of games. And Twittering.
Tonight, they had me (once again) looking for a lawn mower.
Of course, I forgot it was broken from the horrific showing against New York this past Wednesday. I can’t catch a break!
Instead, here is yet another re-enactment of what I decided to do after the loss. Actually, this happened twice tonight. Once was during the 2nd quarter and the other after the game, just to make sure my ass was officially kicked.
Dramatic Re-enactment of Ben:
I’m at a loss for words.
