D’Antoni is (the) Joker
Matt over @ HP goes all culturally philosphocial on 7SOL. A few thoughts:
1 - D’Antoni (unlike the Joker) is a front runner and when thing go haywire he folds. See also Game 1 Suns Spurs playoffs, 2008
2 - Chaos always loses in the end. See also history, world.
7SOL is fun. It can turn a bad team into a playoff team. Its a system that can win on any given night against anyone based purely on volume shooting. It can’t in it’s current form win in the playoffs when rebounding and execution matter more.
