Suns vs. Thunder

Share

I feel for Kevin Durant.  First of all, mostly because he was forced to move from Seattle (a truly awesome town) to Oklahoma City.

On a 3-28 Oklahoma City Thunder team, the dude is averaging 24 points a game shooting almost 47% from the floor and almost 45% from the three point line.  He is leading his team in over 8 statistical categories including blocks.

Having said that, I don’t really care that much about Kevin Durant.

He seems like a good guy but when he plays the Suns, I’m hoping he’ll walk off the court having a similar look like this after we get done pounding the Thunder (that’s what she said).

I’m also really hoping we don’t need a shot like this one that Matt Barnes hit below to propel us to a win…

We really have a chance to get ahead in the winning column in January.  We play only 5 teams with winning records in the entire month.  Starting tonight, we play four teams in a row with sub-par .500 records.  Our toughest games are against the Celtics in Boston, the Mavs at home, and the Spurs in San Antonio where we will get our revenge.

Starting by beating the teams they are supposed to beat, like the Thunder, will be a big confidence booster for the entire squad and we can begin the healing process from Christmas.

This is a chance for the Suns to get back on track and get on a roll going into a tough month in February where we play the Pistons, Cavs, Celtics, and Lakers.

Phoenix Stan, at Bright Side of the Sun, said it best…”This is a MUST NOT LOSE game.”
