Happy Birthday Jesus. Sorry your party was so lame.

Happy Birthday Jesus, sorry the Spurs spoiled your party.

What a game.  Although, I would’ve loved for Roger Mason Jr. to be making a different face afterwards than the one here….

Evil triumphed again.

Really though, what can ya’ do?  The Suns played well, we got calls, and we limited much of our turnovers.  Jason Richardson got sucked in by Parker leaving Mason open and that was the game.

I can’t blame Suns fans for feeling hopeless.  Heck, I felt hopeless a while ago.  But seeing the Suns the past 5 games has given me cause to be happy.

Our defense looked better today, as it has the past several games minus a few hiccups.  Our offense looked steady although I felt we could’ve run more.  Shaq played well, Amare played well, and Nash played well.  Amare and Shaq combined for over 45 points and 25 rebounds – what more can you ask?

The bottom line is the Spurs found a way to win.  As much as it pains me to say it.  They hit shots when it counted, but so did the Suns.  Our 16-12 record could easily be 19-9 with the games we’ve given away thus far.  Amare missed four shots in a row against Duncan down the stretch and the Spurs capitalized.

Not much else to say about this one.  I’d write more…but the feeling of hopelessness just crept back in.
