Coyotes Fall to the Natural Disaster in Colorado

Sleep deprived, Carcillo deprived..the guys were deprived of alot but altitude wasn’t one of them in the Mile High City. Perhaps the lack of oxygen or the insane on-the-road schedule is what caused the yotes to play so sluggishly.

Our guys had to battle hard against the Avalanche.  Joakim Lindstrom hit a lucky goal in the 1st but we didn’t see another until the 3rd when Olli, Olli, Olli tapped one in. Colorado came back and our boys were looking at a 4-2 deficit late in the 3rd period.

It appeared as though the Avalanche were crushing us but Captain Shane “I need a hero” Doan stepped in and saved the day…well sort of.  Doan’s 2 goals brought us back to life and into OT but in an all too familiar scene we gave up the losing goal before the OT ended. Leaving us with one point and a loss.
