Fresh off a pair of humbling home losses to Miami and New Jersey, the Suns will stumble into the Hornets’ nest for a matchup against a team that has beaten them five straight times.
That’s not exactly what the doctor ordered, but it’s what the schedule makers decreed.
So along with solving the turnover and defensive issues that plagued the last two losses the Suns will need to figure out Chris Paul, David West and Peja Stojakovic after the trio tore the Suns up for a 108-95 win in Phoenix on the second day of this season after sweeping the Suns last year.
Who else can see CP3 going for 40 and 10?
If you couldn’t already tell, I don’t like the Suns’ chances in this one.
They can’t guard Paul (I know who can, but seriously the Suns have no shot), which forces them to help off shooters, and with Peja, Morris Peterson and West, that won’t end well.
Where is Shawn Marion when you need him?
