GDT 11/29/08 Sharks VS Coyotes

Well it is apparently time to make the Sharks miserable again. The venerable fish folks are sittin on a relly sweet rcord right now…and you know how we love to crash a Pacific Division rival’s record party. (19-3-1) and looking for a 7th straight win as they swim into Jobbing.com arena, here’s hoping we can put the kabosh on them just like last game.

Unfortunately the alien is back in the net. Nabakov has been a particularly ugly puzzle for us in recent memory and it will take all of the boys to be on their best to get anything past him. Telly looks to get the start and has been sizzling hot. Facing the hot handed Boyle and Clowe, as well as the ever dangerous Big Joe, lil Joe, the other Michalek, Pretty Patty Marleau… damn! does this list ever stop? Oh and don’t forget that lil baby faced assasin Setoguchi! May the underdawg win!

We have managed to curb the Sharks tendency to devour our youngin in 4 of the last 5 contests. I can only hope that containment continues. These boys will come in hungry (no one likes losing to us cellar dwellers) and with a franchise tying record on the line, that will be even more on their minds.

Telly hasn’t done that well with these guys but since he apparently has bought new forcefield maybe that changes with this game. Our unlikely suspects need to be joined by every single player tonight. This is a game in which the big guns need to really BE the big guns and allow the youngins to contribute, rather than do the heavy lifting.

I have no clue what the lines look like for either side but we’ll probably look a lot like the last 3 contests with the addition of the Beast and Dmo. Only Torrey Mitchell and Olli Coyote are on the injury list for both sides.

DO NOT PARADE TO THE SINBIN!!! the fish have 17 extra-man goals in their last eight games! WATCH YOUR BACK DOOR!!! Big Joe absolutely loves feedin shit out from behind the net, leaving Telly’s flank unguarded is an invite to disaster.
