Remember the loss to the Lakers last week?  Forget it already, get it out of your mind.  It’s over, it’s done with.  Let’s all move on.  Why?

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the Oklahoma City Thunder!

In case you weren’t aware, they stink.  They stink bad.  They stink really bad.  So badly in fact, they handed PJ Carlesimo his walking papers after just 11 games for being the complete and utter suck as a coach.

In Southeast Asia, they call this sort of thing karma.

The current upheaval in Oklahoma City doesn’t by any means guarantee a win for the Suns tonight, but let’s just say we should like their chances.  Sure, Kevin Durant and Jeff Green are young and exciting players, but Nick Collison will need to flood the floor if his team is to stand a real chance.

The lesson here is be nice to the schedule makers and not wish awful, awful things on them, because while things may look bleak at times, with nearly half a dozen playoff teams lined up and licking their chops, there is always a game against a team like the Thunder around the corner.

And a trip to Minnesota.
