Bodog Sportsbook has released it’s updated odds for several NFL issues, including who will win the 2008 NFL MVP. Quarterback Kurt Warner of the Arizona Cardinals is currently atop the list of candidates, and is an 8 to 5 favorite to win his 3rd MVP.
Warner currently leads the NFL with a quarterback rating of 105.5 for the Cardinals, who are 7-3 and in first place in the NFC West.
Here’s the rest of the contenders, according to Bodog Sportsbook.
- Kurt Warner, Cardinals 8 to 5
- Brett Favre, Jets 5 to 2
- Kerry Collins, Titans 3 to 1
- Adrian Peterson, Vikings 4 to 1
- Clinton Portis, Redskins 15 to 1
- Jay Cutler, Broncos 16 to 1
- Peyton Manning, Colts 18 to 1
- Matt Cassel, Patriots 20 to 1
- Eli Manning, Giants 20 to 1
- Philip Rivers, Chargers 25 to 1
- Tony Romo, Cowboys 25 to 1
- Joey Porter, Dolphins 25 to 1
- Aaron Rodgers, Packers 30 to 1
- Julius Peppers, Panthers 30 to 1
- Matt Ryan, Falcons 30 to 1
- Kris Jenkins, Jets 30 to 1
- Drew Brees, Saints 35 to 1
- Chad Pennington, Dolphins 40 to 1
- Jeff Garcia, Buccaneers 50 to 1
- L. Tomlinson, Chargers 50 to 1
- Jason Campbell, Redskins 50 to 1
I know a wide receiver has never won the Associated Press MVP (although a kicker has?), but it’s hard to believe that neither of the Cardinals’ dynamic receivers Anquan Boldin or Larry Fitzgerald don’t have a better than 50 to 1 chance to win the postseason hardware.
