Loui Eriksson scored twice and Mike Ribeiro had 3 assists as the Dallas Stars topped the 3-2 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale.

After winning three straight, the Coyotes have now dropped two in a row. Dallas, who is currently in last place in the Pacific Division, broke a 3-game losing streak.

The Stars struck first on Eriksson’s first goal of the night at 17:32 of the first period. Phoenix struck back on a goal early in the 2nd period by Steven Reinprecht to tie the game at 1. The Stars then put the game out of reach with two more goals in the second by Mark Parrish and Eriksson. Coyotes’ rookie Kevin Porter answered just :17 after Eriksson’s goal to pull Phoenix back to within 1, but that’s the way the game would end.

Dallas’ Marty Turco had 25 saves for the win.

The Coyotes are off until Tuesday night when they host the Chicago Blackhawks at Jobing.com Arena.
