Tyler Flowers of the Braves organization hits three home runs and drives in seven runs against the Surprise Rafters. Scoring nearly half of the runs for the Solar Sox, Flowers single handedly dismantles Mesa. Additionally, Logan Morrison and Casper Wells knock in three runs a piece as they hammer the Surprise Rafters in Mesa. Wells would have two home runs of his own. Surprise would only generate four runs in their 4-16 loss against the Mesa Solar Sox.
In Peoria, the Saguaros would maintain their lead in the American Division as they defeat the Javelinas by a score of 2-3. Catcher Rob Johnson from the Seattle Mariners would hit the only home run for the Javalinas. Former ASU star Brett Wallace would have a home run of his own for the winning Peoria Saguaros bringing his home run total to five for the Arizona Fall League.
Meanwhile, the Desert Dogs and Scorpions would battle it out once again. Their first game was a continuation of last week’s game that was called due to a power outage. The game was called after eleven innings of play with a tie at six a piece. In the second game of their double-header, the two teams would battle neck-in-neck once again scoring five runs each. The second game was called a tie as the two teams played another eleven innings.
