Dispatch from the frozen tundra of Indian Wells

Tonight’s outdoor preseason tilt against the Denver Nuggets was an interesting experience. By interesting I mean windy. And by windy I mean I mean cold. And by cold I mean Mother Nature had a good laugh at the expense of all in attendance this evening.

By the end of the game, most of the crowd was already back at home sipping hot chocolate or enjoying the warming effects of a stiff drink.

Fortunately, I came prepared for adverse conditions.  We took the weather in stride, but I’d guess Sarver and Co. were none to pleased when the forecast’s worst case scenario came true.

Despite the less than warm temperature and breezy conditions, the event was rather enjoyable and I’m thrilled I was able to attend. Getting together with Phoenix Stan from Bright Side of the Sun for a post-game snack was icing on the cake.
