San Jose Sharks (Preseason 1-2-0) @ Phoenix Coyotes (Preseason 0-4-0)

Quick GameDay post for today, mostly because there isn’t much to talk about. The Coyotes have not yet posted their full lineup for tonight’s game, however they have confirmed that the top line of Shane Doan-Olli Jokinen-Peter Mueller will be playing tonight. That’s definitely a good thing because they did not seem in sync during Saturday night’s debacle of a game.

The Yotes as a whole need to start getting into good habits now rather than waiting 10 games into the season to remember that they need to keep their feet moving even when they don’t have the puck. Also, the power play needs a lot of work. They had 8 in the last game against the Ducks but couldn’t make anything happen. It seemed like the PP units just didn’t want to shoot the puck. I know these games don’t count yet, but there are only 4 of these preseason games left so let’s get the engine going on a cylinders eh?

I haven’t seen anything yet on the Sharks and what lineup they’ll be throwing at us tonight. If possible we’ll update that when we get it.

Well, so far we haven’t had the best record (0-4-0) but if you take a look at the rosters we were toting we did really good so far. The game against the Ducks severely depressed me and I was disappointed in my first look at the boys for 2008… but we gotta remember that preseason is to work the bugs out, get the blood flowin, shake the rust off…

 

My note to Wayne and co… let the big boys run at least once b4 the home crowd sees them… they were so rusty they practically screetched when they skated. As Breezy said… the first game lets him know just where his weak spots are going to be… maybe let him have the first one and then give him practice time to work on the stuff cuz, ouch he had issues on Saturday.

 

Also… we brought in these tough guys, MackDaddy, Fridge, Murray etc so that Danny wouldn’t get stuck doin all the fighting? Well where the hell were any of them when DC was gettin shoved, hacked and when Lipshitz or whatev that lil cretin’s name is was hacking at Danny’s knee?

 

As usual, our Wild Thang only put up w/ so much , there comes a time to let your fists do the talking. Where were you Mack? oh thats right you were finishing your conversation w/ Mr. Porn Stache… Dude!… your job is protection… sighhh

 

Anyway a few more kids went to the minors leaving around 30 guys still in camp including Ahne and Monty.

So hopefully we will see a much better showing from the boys tonight. PS… still no Hanzal thank god… give the kid a REAL chance to heal please.
