A little broom action: The win gives the D-Backs their 5th 3-game series sweep of the season. All 5 have been accomplished against National League West teams, and they’ve swept each division foe at least once. They’ve given the broom to Colorado twice, and the Dodgers, Giants and Padres once.

Repercussions: The Dodgers topped Colorado earlier in the day, and with the D-Backs’, they’ll head into the weekend with a 2-game lead in the standings over the Dodgers.
