Suns and Nuggets to play in Syracuse

Not only will the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets make history by playing a preseason game outdoors at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Palm Springs, California on October 11th, but they’ll hook up at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse for another exhibition tilt on October 17th.

The game will mark the return of Nuggets’ forward Carmelo Anthony to the arena where he helped his Syracuse Orange to a national championship in 2003. That is, of course, if ‘Melo isn’t dealt before then. His name has been a constant source of trade rumors this off season, following Denver’s annual 1st round exit from the NBA Playoffs.
