"Obviously my goal is to get to the big leagues as fast as possible," Schlereth told ESPN. "I want to help that bullpen out as fast as I can."
Daniel Schlereth, the Diamondbacks first round pick, obviously has great faith in his abilities and his ability to make it to the bigs by the time rosters expand in September. The left hand reliever out of the University of Arizona isn’t the only one that thinks he could see the Chase Field by the end of the season though.
Scouts Inc’s Keith Law also thinks he has the potential to help the Diamondbacks in the very near future. Law wrote for ESPN.com that “Daniel Schlereth…certainly could get left-handed hitters out in the majors right now with his curveball”.
If the bullpen and specifically Doug Slaten continue to struggle you could see Schlereth in Sedona red sooner rather than later.
