The Detroit Tigers today nabbed University of Arizona reliever Ryan Perry with the 21st overall selection in the MLB First Year Player Draft. Perry recorded a 6-3 record with a 3.07 ERA this season for Arizona.
Perry and the Wildcats are in Miami to take on top-ranked Miami in the NCAA Super Regional in Coral Gables, Florida this weekend.
