Shaq to the Suns?

You read the headline right, there is a chance the big Aristotle could be coming to the Suns. According to the Miami Herald the Suns and Heat are talking a Marion and Banks for Shaq swap:

The Heat has told center Shaquille O’Neal’s representation that it is talking about trading him and he should be prepared for the possibility of a deal, according to two officials close to the situation. Phoenix has discussed sending forward Shawn Marion and point guard Marcus Banks to the Heat in return for O’Neal.
Asked for confirmation, one of O’Neal’s representatives said O’Neal has been made aware that discussions with Phoenix are serious and ongoing, but that a deal was not definite.

The money works out and in theory it could help the Suns get past the Spurs but does this really benefit Phoenix? Shaq is owed $20M a year for two more seasons. He has been injured but the chance to win another championship and show up Kobe might be enough to motivate him for another playoff run. This should be an interesting few weeks before the trade deadline.
