Thank You Note To Lou Pinella

Dear Sweet Lou,

Thank you for pulling a Tony LaRussa. Now we realize that it is only game one and that we still need two more, but by trying to win game 4 before having game 1 in hand you really helped us out. Nothing like making sure we never really have to face the true Carlos Zambrano. We only saw him for 6 innings in game 1 and we will only see an 85% Zambrano in game 4, if it gets that far.

We are however a little worried about you, you seemed a little tense in the dugout and after the game in the clubhouse. We hope that doesn't trickle down to your players, because we are pretty loose. Maybe we are just too young to know any better. And what's all this talk about a goat, who is the goofy guy in the hat and glasses with the headphones and what is 1908, is it your apartment number or something? Eh, it's probably nothing I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks again for the move last night. Can we expect a similar one tonight with Ted Lilly? I think 85 pitches should do just fine so he is nice and fresh for game 5, or spring training, whatever the case may be.

We should go we have some cartoons to watch and some cereal to eat before we head in to the ballpark. Try to enjoy tonight Lou. It's just a game… have some fun!
