In Arizona We Celebrate Mediocrity

Share

Chandler Little Leagues Get a Parade for losing! We are all for supporting youth sports and the future athletes of America here at AZSH but we think it’s going a little far. According to Azcentral.com the City of Chandler will be throwing a parade for the Chandler National Little League team who was eliminated in the American Semi-finals of the Little League World Series.

They did make it pretty damn far. The farthest we made it in little league was to first base, then again thats the furthest we have made it with the ladies later in life. But honestly a parade? Don’t these kids need to learn the harsh reality of the world where we don’t celebrate losers? Then again if they are destine for corporate America jobs then mediocrity is accepted and expected.

I guess this shouldn’t come as a surprise from the state that threw a parade for the Phoenix Suns when they finished second to the Chicago Bulls in 1993 and over 200,000 people showed up.
