The Suns need a back up center, the great Oklahoma Kid is still under contract with the franchise serving as Facility Manager at U.S. Airways Center, so why not sign him? He’ll be a young 53 when the season starts. He only has to get his old # 33 back from Grant Hill.

In some cases we’re talking about guys out of the game for 3-4 years, on the wrong side of 30′s (some in their 40′s). What do they all have in common? they could be used as 15-minute a game specialists. This tells either that overall talent level has gone down or that today’s young players probably lack the fundamentals to play that role.

Let’s hope Alvan is ready for training camp.
