Up Up and Away! Uber Prospect Justin Upton to the majors!

Let's bring Upton to the bigs. Woooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! It’s like a hot fire of smeltering goodness. But is now the right time? From AA? I guess we’ll find out! This is bigger than big.

According to the Mobile Press-Register, the Diamondbacks are expected to call up Justin Upton Thursday.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 draft, Upton has destroyed two levels of the minors despite not turning 20 years old until later this month. The move may indicate that Carlos Quentin’s injury is serious, because it seems unlikely that the Diamondbacks would call a teenager up if they didn’t intend to play him regularly. - from our friends at RotoWorld.com

This is the best prospect in the majors heading to the hottest team in the majors right now. Can you feel it? I can feel it.

The only bad part of this whole thing is the injury to Carlos Quentin. Talk about a bad year. First he sucks; then he’s sent to AAA; finally back and ready to go when he strains his right hamstring. Sometimes things just don’t go your way.
